Frederick Doesn’t Need a Weatherman to Know which Way the Wind Blows

Republican Party of Virginia chairman Jeff Frederick finds himself in a bit of hot water after pointing out an ugly link between Barack Obama and Osama bin Laden.

Obama and bin Laden “both have friends that bombed the Pentagon,” Del. Frederick told a group of Republican volunteers.

Gail Gitcho, a spokeswoman for the McCain campaign, a group that contemns freedom of political speech, called Del. Frederick’s comparison “not appropriate”.

Ms. Gitcho explained, “While Barack Obama is associated with domestic terrorist William Ayers, the McCain campaign disagrees with the comparison that Jeff Frederick made.”

  1. You’re on drugs if you believe that Obama would declare victory in Iraq or reign in government to within their very limited Constitutional limits. This guy has NEVER talked about winning or victory in Iraq. The only times he uses the words winning or victory is with regard to himself and his campaign.

Say hello fairness doctrine and goodbye secret elections to organize unions. The first 100 days of an Obama Admin. will make the U.S. less free and less safe. May you and every other Obama voter be the first to experience the effects of that yourselves.

  2. One difference. Obama knew Ayers personally. There is no evidence that Osama knew the hijackers personally.

  3. What the McCain campaign is saying is that Ayers’ attempt to vandalize the Pentagon as a political protest does not compare to the innocent civilians as well as military personnel maimed and killed by John McCain acting under orders of the U.S. military during the same undeclared war that Ayers and his associates were trying to stop.

There is no comparison between some punk tossing a small hand made explosive at the Pentagon and pickling off a few thousand pound bombs, especially when the latter killing is being done with the stamp of approval of the U.S. government.

This sort of reminds us of the old quote about if you kill one man you are a murderer, but kill 100 men and you are a hero.

Has anyone in blog land noticed how much attention is being paid to stupid distractions like the Ayers link, while so few serious discussions of real ideas or solutions are taking place.

Obama’s website has some interesting ideas/solutions, but one would never know it from the MSM or reading most of the blogs.

Let’s start discussing what the first 100 days of the Obama administration will look like. I am rooting for declaring victory in Iraq and Afghanistan, the repeal of the Patriot Act, elimination of DHS and re-introducing our federal and state agencies to their Constitutional limits.
