Jesse Jackson Apologizes after Threatening to Dismember Barack Obama

Jesse Jackson has apologized to Barack Obama for “crude and hurtful” remarks made this past Sunday. Still wearing a microphone after an interview with a FOX News correspondent, Mr. Jackson engaged in what he says he thought was a private discussion. “I was in a conversation with a fellow guest on Sunday. He asked about Barack’s speeches lately at the black churches,” he explained. “I said he comes down as speaking down to black people.” FOX’s Shepard Smith reported on the air that Mr. Jackson also threatened “to cut off a certain part” of Sen. Obama’s anatomy.

  1. I don’t believe for one minute that Jackson believed 1) his mic was off, and 2) the camera he was sitting in front of was not rolling. That was planned, and he wanted to send a message to Obama, and it worked.
