Virginians are set to enjoy the Commonwealth’s second Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday during August 3-5. Shoppers will not pay sales tax on items like pieces of clothing under $100.00 and school supplies under $20.00. Taxes take one of the biggest bites from the family budget, and the Tax Holiday gives Virginians a much-needed break, letting them spend more of their hard-earned money on their own needs, not the government’s wants. Last year’s tax holiday saved Virginians an estimated $3.6 million, so stock up this weekend!
