The U.S. Department of Justice has released e-mails and other documents showing that the White House more than two years ago initiated the process that led to the dismissals of eight U.S. Attorneys and that the decisions were heavily influenced by assessments of the prosecutors’ political loyalty, according to The Washington Post.

In other news, DePauw University has evicted its chapter of the Delta Zeta sorority for purging 23 members who were allegedly deemed insufficiently pretty or popular, according to the Associated Press.
